Twitter Turbulence Training Contest Ends Today!

March 20th is here already!

So far so good!  I have been pretty good at keeping up with the Turbulence Training program up until this point.

Twenty two days until the Turbulence Training Transformation Contest is over!

April 11th will be here before we know it.   As you saw in my Accountibility Video I have some very specific goals that I want to achieve by that date.

How am I doing so far?  I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag but, I have done just as well as I had done back in September 2008 when I first did the Twitter Transformation where I decided I wasn’t going to be a “Muffin Top” Mom any more.

Will 22 days be enough for me to meet my goals?

We will see.  One thing I can tell you is that the program Craig has designed gives you more than just a work out is gives you a lifestyle plan that goes way beyond the dates laid out by any contest.

Twitter Transformation Contest has begun! 

What the heck is a Twitter Transformation?  Here’s it is in a nutshell….an awesome 4 week, 28 day challenge to transform your body and your life!

The big kicker for me is that Craig has generously offered to match and winnings donated to charity!

My plan is to do the Turbulence Training Program at least 3 times a week and walk daily.  I’ll be posting my progress regularly and will have my pictures up so that you can hold me accountable!  If you are following me on Twitter, you’ll see updates on my workouts and meals!

I Don’t Want To Be A ‘Muffin Top’ Mom!!

It Started With a Muffin Top….

I picked up my daughter at school the other day and as she got out of the car she was complaining that sheneeded new jeans because the ones she had on were giving her a “Muffin Top”.

Now, we had just finished school shopping so my sympathy wasn’t running too deep!

“What the heck is a Muffin Top?”, I asked.

My now 14 year old, first year in High School, too cool for her own good, daughter, turned to me with a look that made me feel like I had grown a third eye or something.

“You don’t know what a ‘Muffin Top’ is?” was her first thing she said to me. The next statement was the one that got me…

“You should know ’cause you have one!”

She pulled up her shirt just slightly to reveal a teeny tiny little roll just about her jeans that were, be the way,old and too tight. So much for all her new school clothes!

I looked down and I think my face turned six shades of red because my daughter’s response was so sympathetic…

“It’s OK, your a MOM. Moms have Muffin Tops.”

Just in case you are still in the dark about the definition of Muffin Top, here it is:

This comes straight from Wikipedia-”Muffin-top” is a generally pejorative slang term used to describe the phenomenon of overhanging flesh when it spills over the waistline of trousers or skirt in a manner that resembles the top of a muffin spilling over its paper casing. This generally occurs when an individual wears low-rise, hip-hugger pants, or midriff-baring tops that are too small.

To clarify the facts…I was NOT wearing low-rise ,hip-hugger pants, or a midriff-baring top that was too small! I was wearing my plain old fashion Levis and T-Shirt!

It was sad, but true…I had a Muffin Top. Trust me, there was plenty of spillage there too!

Rules of the Twitter Turbulence Training 4-Week Transformation Contest

1) The 4-Week Twitter Turbulence Training Transformation Contest runs from Sept. 1st to Sept. 29th, 2008.

2) To enter the contest:

- You must use Turbulence Training workouts for all 4 weeks to achieve your results.

NOTE: If you don’t have Turbulence Training, you can grab a FREE Turbulence

– You must update Twitter every time you do a Turbulence Training Workout.
So if you do 3 TT workouts in that week, you need to update Twitter 3 times.

NOTE: You will get more results if you post all of your meals, workouts, and body transformation trials and tribulations on Twitter or on your blog. Research shows that the more often you give updates on your progress, the greater your chances of weight loss success!

- You must provide “Before and After” photos via email, on your blog or website, or by posting them in the Transformation Forum of the Turbulence Training Membership Website (www.TTMembers.com).

- All entries must be received before Midnight, EST, Sept. 30th, 2008.

3) You must take “Before” photos on Day 1 and “After” photos on Day 28. All photos must include your entire body (including head and face) AND a newspaper from the current date in order for your transformation to be entered into the contest. There are NO exceptions.

4) Photos can be posted in the Turbulence Training Membership Website Transformation Forum or can be entered by email (see details below).

It is highly recommended ˆ for your success ˆ to post your photos, workouts, and nutrition on your blog or in a training journal in the Turbulence Training Membership forum.

NOTE: Don’t forget, you get at least 3 months free access to the Turbulence Training Membership Website and Forums when you order Turbulence Training.

Recording your photos, workouts, and nutrition will dramatically increase your chances of losing fat and reaching your goals because of the power of social support found on the forums.

5) In addition to providing Before & After photos, each contestant must write a 300 word essay on their before and after success story. This can be posted on the forum or sent by email or even on Twitter.

6) The Transformation Contest will be judged by a panel of experts, including but not restricted to: Craig Ballantyne, Brad Pilon, and Holly Rigsby.

By entering this Contest, each winner of a contest prize consents to the use of his/her name, and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor and its advertising and promotional agencies without further notice or compensation.
